Where are you?

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

That’s exactly what God asked Adam and Eve after they ate from the tree they weren’t suppose to.

In last nights message Pastor Isaac explained that right after Adam and Eve ate of the tree their eyes were open and they were immediately ashamed of what they had done. He said that Adam was suppose to be the watchman over his wife and he failed. He allowed a foreign idol to cloud his judgement.

He said that as believers we are called to be watchmen over our homes, our children, our families, our nation & our friends.

That if we aren’t careful we allow these foreign ideologies to infiltrate our homes. Therefore causing havoc in our lives. He said we cannot be asleep at the wheel, we need to be diligent and vigilant.

Often times we do things or pursue things that make us feel good. Things that aren’t focused on the Kingdom. We go off of our emotions and not the will of God.

As a Sunday school teacher I am responsible for making sure that kids know who God is. How terrible would it be if my life wasn’t spirit lead. If I imparted the things of the world and not the Kingdom. I am to watch over them.

Pastor Isaac explained that we are to allow our spiritual leader (watchmen) to guide us and direct us, not to have a rebellious spirit.

Hebrews 13:17

Watchmen are accountable for those they are looking after. If they leave their post how many people are affected? So I ask you have you left your post? Do you know where you are in life, are you lost?

We need to reflect on our lives. We have to know where we are in order to receive directions on where we need to be.

Friend do not worry if you have veered off course. Just as Adam left his post and was lost, God never stopped seeking him. He will never stop seeking you. If God didn’t love you he would have never sent Jesus to die on the cross for you. Gods love is gracious.

I encourage you to seek God. Know where you are at in life, remember you’re a watchman who people are trusting and most importantly don’t fall asleep at the wheel. Always be ready and on guard.
