Senior Pastors Omar and Letty Lopez
In 1989, Pastor Omar and Letty Lopez began pastoring a small congregation in Paramount, California. Their church soon experienced a revival, transforming many broken and bound lives. Some of these individuals later became pastors and pioneered their own churches.
In 1996, Pastor Omar and Letty, along with their congregation, relocated to Bellflower, California, where they rented a building from a Seventh-day Adventist Church for the next four years. During this time, they faced numerous difficulties, and the congregation dwindled to fewer than fifteen families as many longtime members left. However, they remained committed to their mission, saving wisely and supporting various mission works.
In 1999, they had to relocate unexpectedly once more. Trusting God, they leased a building in Paramount from a pastor friend. Several months later, the pastor of the church they were leasing resigned and recommended that the building be sold to Pastor Omar and his congregation. With the funds Pastor Omar had saved, they were able to purchase the building. Soon after, a great revival began, and the congregation quickly grew from around thirty families to over a hundred. As the church continued to grow, they outgrew the building.
In 2009, God opened the door to a larger building, the original one they had started in, which could accommodate their expanding congregation. This marked a full-circle moment for them.
Since 2000, Pastor Omar and Letty have witnessed tremendous growth, not only in their own church but also in over thirty churches they have planted. These churches have also seen significant growth. Annually, their church hosts a conference with their church plants, attracting over a thousand attendees. God transformed a small congregation of under fifteen families into a community of over a thousand souls. Pastor Omar and Letty continue to pursue their vision of church planting and multiplication, as God brings new and greater revivals.
